Lessons & Carols

  • Saint Paul's Church on Lake of the Isles 1917 Logan Avenue South Minneapolis, MN, 55403 United States (map)

As winter darkness gathers, we will settle in candlelit warmth to share stories and music of the season, including poetry of Thomas Merton and Jan Richardson, Stephen Paulus’ devilishly spikey “Pilgrim Jesus” and the premiere of a tenebrous meditation on the Wendell Berry text “To Know The Dark” composed by J. David Moore especially for Saint Paul’s Choir.

An Immaculate Reception of sherry and sweets will follow, fireside, in the Parish House, and childcare will be available. Please join us for a festive evening sure to warm you from the inside out.

Natalia serves as the Treble II Lay Clark at St. Paul’s and will be the soloist for Elizabeth Poston’s Jesus Christ The Apple Tree.
