More than 450 Saint Paul student artists, vocalists, and instrumentalists will showcase their skills during the 28th annual Honors Concert on April 23 at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. The annual showcase is in partnership with Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS), Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and the Minnesota Museum of American Art (The M).
The Honors Concert will feature a performance by high school orchestra, band, and choir students conducted by guest conductors, and accompanied by Thomas Bartsch. The event will also include a student Performance Showcase prior to the concert in the Target Atrium.
“The Honors Concert celebrates the wonderful accomplishments of students in our community and encourages their continued growth in the performing arts,” said Jamie Grant, Ordway president and CEO. “It’s a privilege for the Ordway to partner with these phenomenal organizations and host this annual event.”
The Harding Music Department is proud to announce that we have 35 students participating this year - 13 in the choir, 17 in the band and 5 in the Orchestra. Go Knights!!
