El Mesías is a bilingual (Spanish-English) version of Handel’s Messiah combined with Navidad Nuestra, a cantata by Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez that focuses on the Holy Family’s role as refugees in the Christmas story. This will be the third year in which we present a version of El Mesías. This is our most popular program and is on its way to becoming an annual musical event embraced by the Latinx communities of our two venues and the wider Twin Cities classical music audience.

There will be two performances of the work: Friday, December 13th at Church of the Ascension and Saturday, December 14th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Natalia will be performing with Border CrosSing’s Puentes ensemble and Minnesota Chorale.
