Why are you here?
I love my job! I always write "Why are you here?" on the board on the first day of school because I'm curious to see what students says. Responses included: "Singing is my passion", "Choir is fun", "I want to learn to read notes", "I missed Romero", and so many more that said "I love to sing, this is a safe place." How cool is it that I get to go to work and inspire teenagers to use their voice? It was so heartwarming to see all these familiar faces, give hugs, hear about summers and jump back into singing.
